Final post

The ride is over now but the overall project is not! Over three thousand dollars have been fundraised which makes for a sizeable grant for a creative expression project. Thank you everyone for your support!

Purpose of the Ride

The goal of the ride is to raise $5000 for a research or creative expression grant for a CWU College of Arts and Humanities student whose work will be required to be in some way connected to the City of Ellensburg. The grant will be given in May 2012 and be completed by May 2013. This project is a collaboration between the College of Arts and Humanities of Central Washington University, the City of Ellensburg, and the Ellensburg Downtown Association with the overall objective of adding value to our downtown.

Donations

You may sponsor Birkin for $1 per mile for any number of miles up to 1,000 by going here.

Additionally, checks may be made out to CWU Foundation and indicate that the funds are to go to the CAH Dean's Excellence Fund--Birkin Sponsorship. Please mail donations to: CWU Foundation, Central Washington University, 400 E. University Way, Ellensburg, WA 98926-7508.
